Note on "Anticipated" vacancies: KPSC uses this term when the exact number is not fixed in advance. The last cycle’s test was held on 16 December 2023 under question code 242/2023. Roughly 77,480 candidates were in the fray under Category 691/2022 alone, with about 6,586 under the SC/ST category — competition worth planning for, not panicking about, since a large share of that pool never sits the exam or prepares seriously.

Study by mark weightage, not by comfort. Basic Dairy Science and Mathematics are each 20 marks, and both are learnable from scratch in weeks.
